Graduated from the University of Newcastle in 1987. He has been a General Practitioner since 1990. He is a country boy through and through, having been raised in Bathurst, NSW. He has always practised in country and regional areas, having worked in Tamworth, central Victoria, and Taree.

He enjoys all aspects of general practice, including antenatal care, caring for children, adult medicine and skin cancer care, but is especially skilled in Aged Care and Palliative Care.

He has a Masters in Palliative Care, and a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine, and is a member of the Australia and New Zealand Society of Palliative Medicine. He loves to work with his patients to help better their health and has a passion for good quality care.
