Pre-hospital Emergency Medicine (Germany) FRACGP, Diploma and Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine (Australia) graduated from Frankfurt University in 1991. Surgical training in Germany and UK. Recognition as a specialist of General Surgery, further specialisation in Trauma Surgery and Emergency Medicine. Diagnosing, treating and operating a wide range of abdominal, oncological, endocrinological, vascular and orthopaedic cases. Basic training in Plastic and Hand Surgery as well as neurosurgical and thoracic procedures. Emergency / ICU training with retrieval of patients suffering life threatening illness or injury / Surgical Sonography.

After following his Australian wife to NSW in 2003, training and recognition as specialist of General Practice, as well as qualification with the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine / Advanced Cardiac Life Support / Emergency Management / Remote X-Ray operator licence, emergency and routine cases in a number of rural and regional hospitals. Interests include skin cancer, injury management, musculoskeletal complaints, diabetes and vascular medicine.
